BMW iX1 x Steve Aoki spreads messages of joy at the legendary Tomorrowland festival.

After a two year absence, Tomorrowland has returned. And this year it was bigger and better than ever. Taking place over three weekends, Tomorrowland kicked off on 15 July, and as always, the messages of joy and sustainability were at the heart of the legendary festival.

BMW has long been a supporter of the arts, and of music in particular. Tomorrowland’s dedication to enjoying the present while preserving the future make it the perfect partner.

“Music inspires, shapes memories, and encourages people to come together. It speaks one global, emotional language,” says Stefan Ponikva, Head of Brand Communication and Experience at BMW. “As a relationship brand with ‘joy’ at its core, Tomorrowland is a perfect match for us.”

Taking centre stage at the festival was the new all-electric BMW iX1 in a custom wrap co-created by producer Steve Aoki. The two-time Grammy-nominated music producer, artist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur wrapped the BMW iX1 x Steve Aoki in wishes and messages of joy from festival goers – the “Tomorrow People”.

Throughout the festival, the BMW iX1 x Steve Aoki was on display in “The Magical Forest of Joy”. Visitors could visit the stand to pose for photos and videos with the all-electric BMW iX1 and its messages about the future. #UNITEDINJOY.
