A showcase of BMW Customer golf talent
This week BMW Group Ireland hosted the Regional Qualifiers for the BMW Golf Cup which took place in Carton House, a Fairmont Managed Hotel and Resort, providing an opportunity for amateur Golfers to participate in a regional tournament.
Qualifiers were awarded a place to represent Ireland at a BMW Golf Cup National and Ireland Final which will be hosted at Gleneagles, Auchterarder in Scotland on 29 and 30 September 2025.
We are proud to continue this tradition in Ireland this year with over fifty golfers competing!
Highlights from the Tournament
In our ladies’ heat, we saw Eileen Cahill take the winning spot with 33 points. Joan Collins came in with an extremely close 2nd scoring 32 points and our previous champion, Michelle Tighe placing 3rd with a respectful 29 points. Unfortunely, Eileen Cahill is unable to make it to the final, so we have offered a place to our fourth-place lady Marie-Louise Gorman.
In our Men’s A heat, Kealan Murray topped the leaderboard and came out on top. Following him with a very tight outcome was Johnathan Millar who ended the day in 2nd and Harry Swan.
In our Men’s B, taking the prestigious 1st place was Gary Collins with Fran Berry following and Phillip McBurney taking a well-deserved 3rd place.
Fellow BMW Friend of the brand, Paul McGinley, joined us for an exclusive Q&A with Robert Frame BMW Ireland’s Head of Sales & Marketing ahead of the prize giving.

The BMW Golf Cup is the largest and one of the most successful global golf series for amateurs. With over 100,000 participants worldwide,
Winners from the National and Ireland final will then be entered into the World Final which will be held in South Africa in 2026.
