BMW Ireland Celebrates a Memorable KPMG Women's Irish Open.

As Official Car Partner of the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, BMW Ireland played a central role, showcasing its commitment to supporting women’s sport and creating unforgettable experiences for customers, partners and golf fans.
The world’s best female golfers went head-to-head on the iconic Palmer South course at the K Club for the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open and competed for a prize fund of €450,000. The Tournament welcomed over 32,000 spectators pass through the gates and enjoyed following the array of talent out on the course and entertainment in the championship village despite rain and weather warnings over the weekend.
South African golfer Casandra Alexander secured victory with an impressive 20-under-par finish, including a course-record-equalling round of 63 (-9). BMW Friend of the Brand Leona Maguire also matched the course record during an outstanding third-round performance and finished tied for fourth place on 15-under-par. BMW Electrifying displays

Pro-Am day
The BMW Group Ireland Pro-Am team featured a star-studded group with Ulster rugby star Rory Best, stand-up comedian & mental health advocate Rory Stories and sports broadcaster Jacqui Hurley. Our team had the opportunity to golf with up-and-coming Irish golfer Canice Screene, competing in her second year on the Ladies European Tour
Exclusive Experiences for BMW Owners
BMW owners had access to a dedicated car park throughout the duration of the tournament, ensuring convenience and ease of access. BMW owners could also avail of an embroidered golf towel with their initials; this was a huge hit at the tournament!
A Legacy in Golf
Globally, BMW has been a proud supporter of golf for over 30 years. This legacy of support continues with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and extends to the BMW Golf Cup, which BMW Ireland & UK will host at the K Club in October. This event provides BMW customers that are amateur golfers an opportunity to participate in a National Final following regional competitions which our retailer partners hosted.
BMW not only supports golf from an event perspective but golfers too. Along with Leona Maguire, BMW Ireland is also proud to support Paul McGinley, one of Ireland’s most celebrated golfers and a four-time European Tour winner.
